AJ 220 - Constitutional Law
Course Description
- Prerequisite or Corequisite: AJ 101
The US constitution is examined as a basis of arrest, search, seizure and disposition. Cases are examined to illustrate the court’s interpretive process.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of AJ 220, the student will be able to:
- Discuss the historical development of constitutional laws.
- Explain the protections the Bill of Rights provides for individuals.
- Describe the limits on police authority imposed by the courts' interpretation of the Bill of Rights.
