Professional And Career Education for Early Childhood (PACE)

At Honolulu Community College (HCC) our job is to provide people with opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that allow them to become the best early childhood professionals possible. Some people would like to take courses at the community college but find the location inconvenient or the enrollment process confusing.

We may have the answer for these challenges. PACE for Early Childhood makes training and education more readily available so people can "pace" themselves in their professional and career development.

The Honolulu Community College Early Childhood Program serves as a clearinghouse for information about PACE workshops offered in the community. For more information call the PACE office at 845-9496 or e-mail us at pace@hcc.hawaii.edu.

The PACE Office can provide information about:

  • Workshops that are available in the community;
  • How to use the PACE Program to meet the in-service needs of programs;
  • How to use the PACE Program for individual professional and career development; (converting to credit)
  • How to arrange for workshops in a community or workplace setting and How to register.

The PACE Program makes it easy for people to start and continue along the road to professional growth and development.
