CENT 227 - Networking with TCP/IP

Course Description

  • Prerequisite: CENT 140

This course covers the essentials of networking computers using the TCP/IP protocol. Students examine the OSI model layers 2 through 7 in great detail. Lab work includes using a protocol analyzer to view and analyze network traffic. Cross-listed as ICS 227. Credit may be received for only CENT 227 or for ICS 227, but not for both.
