EIMT 30B - Electrical Installation Theory I-B
Course Description
- Prerequisite: ENG 20B & C & D & E OR "C" or higher in ESL 11 & 13 & 14 & 17 OR placement in ENG 22/60; MATH 20B & C & D OR placement in MATH 53
- Corequisite: EIMT 32B, 30B and 32B must be taken together
- EIMT majors only
This course is designed to develop knowledge of basic residential wiring. Emphasis is on the National Electrical Code and the principles of basic residential blueprint reading.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of EIMT 30B, the student will be able to:
- Design and calculate the electrical circuits for a specific residential building with emphasis on the National Electrical Code and principles of residential blueprint reading
