EIMT 32C - Electrical Installation I-C

Course Description

  • Prerequisite: "C" in EIMT 30B and in EIMT 32B
  • Corequisite: EIMT 30C
  • EIMT majors only

This course is designed to provide advanced knowledge in residential wiring techniques. Laboratory exercises are designed to give students practical experience in different wiring techniques used to maintain, troubleshoot and repair all residential wiring circuits.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of EIMT 32C, the student will be able to:

  • Design, calculate, troubleshoot, and install various types of branch circuits within a specific dwelling with emphasis on the National Electrical Code and principles of residential blueprint reading
