FT 36 - Draping
- Prerequisite: FT 205 & 215 & 217
Basic fundamentals of draping with standard and individual forms.
Contact: 2 hours lecture; 3 hours lab per week
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of FT 36, the student will be able to:
- Drape the following garment designs using a dress form:
- basic bodices
- basic skirts
- kimono sleeves
- basic collars
- cowl necklines
- basic shifts
- Creatively drape original designs.
- Produce accurate patterns from draped designs.
