SOSE 91V - Work Practicum
Course Description
Supervised work experience. Individualized in-service training in community service. May be repeated until 9 credits are earned. Responsibilities increase with each repeat. Concurrent enrollment in SOSE 51 (Practicum Seminar) is recommended.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of SOSE 91V, the student will be able to:
- Analyze the organization and services of a human services agency.
- Work under a supervisor and with other staff members in a human services agency.
- Interact effectively with people in the agency.
- Practice human service delivery skills.
- Identify possible career interests.
