IEDD 101 - Basic Drafting and Blueprint Reading

A basic mechanical drawing course designed for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Apprenticeship Program students. Includes the use of drafting instruments, technical terminology, drawing scales, linework, lettering, orthographic projection, auxiliary and sectional views, assemblies and pictorials, threads and welds, and basic shop drawings. Lecture, demonstration, and exercise drawing. Topics developed in related shop work apart from this course.
