WELD 60 - Advanced Arc Welding I
- Prerequisite: WELD 58
- WELD majors only
Single and multi-pass groove welding, on carbon steel, using E7018 electrodes. Welding to be done in the 1G (flat) and 2G (horizontal) positions.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of WELD 60, the student will be able to:
- Select and use the proper safety clothing and equipment
- Demonstrate advanced use and operation of shielded metal arc welding equipment according to industry standards in the flat and horizontal positions on groove welds
