WELD 78 - Fabrication Techniques

Introduction to the layout and fabrication of welded structures, jigs, and fixtures. Interpretation and practical applications of blueprints and sketches. Miter cuts and the identification and processing of metals.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of WELD 78, the student will be able to:
- Select and use the proper safety clothing and equipment
- Demonstrate welding layout and fabrication from sketches and blueprints, with safe and appropriate operation of hand tools, power tools and equipment according to industry standards with instructor supervision./li>
