Emphasis on the use of various types of equipment together with the interpretation of blueprints and sketches to perform practical work assignments.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of WELD 84, the student will be able to:
- Select and use the proper safety clothing and equipment
- Perform practical projects with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrate welding layout and fabrication from sketches and blueprints, with safe and appropriate operation of hand tools, power tools and equipment according to industry standards
